(.):  The paper examines the classification of multilayer networks and centrality metrics that can be used to analyze such networks based on random walk. Such centrality metrics include: eigenvector centrality, Katz centrality, and PageRank. The paper also provides examples of multi-layered networks from various sectors of the national economy. In terms of network classification, four types of networks are proposed, in which each previous one is a special case of the subsequent network(s). The article distinguishes between the following types of networks: homogeneous directed temporal network (Temporal Network), homogeneous multiplex network (Multiplex Network), heterogeneous network (Heterogeneous Network), and heterogeneous multilayer network (Multilayer Network). The article provides matrices (supermatrices) of adjacency for each of the network classes, as well as their visualization. In terms of the classification of metrics for the centrality of multilayer networks, the article provides a classification based on the types of networks that can be used.
